     Station for amateur radio ALINCO DX-10, AM, FM, SSB 10M 11M CW TRX coming from the factory in the frequency configured in the frequency 28 - 29.7 MHz. The station can be programmed / configured for export by amateur radio users authorized for use in other frequencies of the 11M radio band.

Under all these names the issue with dim display  lighting has been complained about for years, they loved the radio but not the lighting in the daytime. It is hard to see in bright light.

     Amateur radio station Alinco DX-10 is the newest product of the manufacturer Alinco completing the premium range of stations operating in FM AM USB LSB CW PA.

     The generously sized screen displays most of the functions and indicators needed for normal use.

     Next to the screen, on the right you will find a secondary display to display the channel number which allows a better information of the user.      The Alinco station has a Clarifier function that helps a clearer reception. Along with the automatic squelch, the station is equipped with filters that reduce background sounds ANL, NB and Hi-Cut. RF Gain and Small Gain adjust the sensitivity of reception / transmission to communicate over long distances. These should be set to maximum when the correspondent is nearby and can be dimmed to reduce distortion.

  Astatic RD104-E Amplified microphone.

Switch Location
 		  Install an EXTERNAL PTT keying port. We use an RCA jack for a TX output PORT to your external device. Every time you key it provides a connection between the +/- of the RCA connector.
   1) Output RCA completely isolated  from the radio. Both +/-  connect to a relay that isolates it from the radios circuits.
   2) Optional BYPASS switch in case your external device does not have a standby (turns port off (stays open))
     4) Heavy duty relay can handle any keying circuit voltage, even the SB-220's - 120VDC circuit.		 $49

 Install a Record/Playback Module 120 seconds (wired inside the radio with a switch on the side to record 120 seconds and to play it back over the air) $77
 Change factory power cord to a 10 Gauge Power Cord (14 foot) and modify the DC Jack for high amperage 2 Pin Quick connector. A 3300uF Capacitor is also added for additional DC filtering.

Pin #1 is Mic Audio
Pin #2 is n/c
Pin #3 is TX
Pin #4 is Channel Up/Down*
Pin #5 is Ground
Pin #6 is VDC
*Channel UP 46K Ohm, Down 100K Ohm
and ASQ is 150K ohm to ground.

Interesting fact, although this is NOT exactly
the same as the President Mics, they DO work
on these radios anyway, President items like the DIGIMIKE
work great.
