Download Manual

This compact CB transceiver incorporates state-of-the-art microelectronics into a sophisticated Euro-styled 2-way radio. The superior engineering of the PRO510XL will treat your ears to professional 2-way radio communications as you've never heard it before.

"I have been selling these (510 and 520) for over a decade and I can still say they are one of the best ever made in the small size class. These radios last a very long time without fail."

  • ANL Switch
  • Compact Size
  • Full 40 Channel Operation
  • S/RF Meter
  • MOSFET Final Transistor.
  • Requires a High impedance electret microphone or amplified microphone.  These do not work well with the noise cancelling mics like the 636L or the RK-56

1. ANL Switch - You can select the Automatic Noise Limiter to help
reduce harsh background noise caused by a variety of interference sources.

2. TX LED - An LED lights to indicate when the radio is transmitting.

3. S/RF Meter - This LED meter shows the relative strength of the received signal or the RF output.

4. Channel Indicator - Displays the channel currently in use.

5. Channel Selector - This switch selects the desired channel for transmission and reception.

6. Squelch - The squelch control is used to eliminate background noise during the absence of a transmission.

7. Volume Control - Rotate clockwise to turn the radio on and to increase the volume.

8. Microphone Jack - The operational mode of the CB is controlled by the push-to-talk switch on the microphone.

Antenna Connector - This female connector permits connection of the transmission line cable male connector (PL-259) to the transceiver.

EXT SP Jack - An External 8 Ohm 7-Watt Speaker may be connected to this jack. The internal speaker is disabled when you plug into this jack.

* The most informative meter and the one we use.

If If You are noticing lower power  then they used to do, it is because they changed the final back to "Bipolar" transistors and no longer Mosfets. We started seeing this version around OCT2021.
