Texas Ranger SRA-FC393 is a universal
frequency counter which indicates the frequency of the selected channel.
It is designed for use in some CB and Amateur radios with a rear
external 6pins frequency counter jack.
Directly compatible with radios such as
Connex, Galaxy, General, Mirage, Superstar and Ranger.
It is not a stand alone counter and
will not read actual output frequency, just the frequency of an internal
oscillator and then add to that to show the transmit frequency on the
display.
*** THIS IS
NOT LIKE THE FC-347 and
390 that were
compatible with
Cobra/Uniden Radios. This is for a 16MHZ VCO frequency tap ONLY.
- Displays the Frequency ALL the time, in RX and TX.
- No soldering required on many of the Galaxy radios,
Texas Ranger TR-296 series, Connex
and General.
It
plugs directly into a socket on the back of the radio next to the
antenna connector.
