Galaxy CB radios are designed with Features that a serious CB operator can appreciate and a new user can easily master. The radio functions are laid out in a driver friendly format essential for ease of use while keeping your eyes focused on the road ahead. Each knob or button controls its own task, minimizing the need to look at a display or cycle through multiple menus. Big radio Features in a smaller package set the DX-939F apart from the crowd. A big calibrated meter, front mic jack and AM operation (no SSB) along with our backlit faceplate give this radio maximum bang for the buck.

The functions are the same as our full sized DX939 but it is in the mid sized chassis (DX929/DX979). Here are the three differences:

1) No three position tone switch.

2) Roger Beep is still there, but no LED to indicate that it is on.

3) No switch to turn off the frequency display. However, the Dimmer pot turns it down very low.

Galaxy radios sometimes have a small scratch or ding that the factory covers with black touch up.  We cannot effect this and do not guarantee your radio to be cosmetically perfect.  Bells CB will make no marks or scratches on your radio ourselves.  Galaxy might though and I cannot control it.

SO-239As many of you may know;  Ranger, Galaxy and General radios have all had some poor tolerance coax connectors this last year (SO-239 on the back of the radio) . You have to wiggle the coax just right to get a good grab on the threads of the connector. They are too far “out of tolerance” and we can no longer accept it.       So we have started changing the coax connectors ourselves to a much higher quality SO-239 that will fit your coax nice and tight.  This has affected our selling price ($10) but we think you will agree that it is worth it.
